The Maintenance/Repair Manager is responsible for ensuring all maintenance and repair work orders for Retail clients are carried out in a timely manner with efficiency and professionalism while surpassing the client expectations. Consequently, this position requires a high level of responsibility, a result oriented and a can do attitude, and a great deal of flexibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee client work order verification process
  • Provide price quotes to the clients and follow up with them
  • Establish and maintain existing vendor relations
  • Match and assign the appropriate field tech for the work order
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of field technicians
  • Maintain accurate records of the work orders, invoices, reports, emails and other correspondence
  • Collaborate with clients and update them on the status of each phase
  • Analyze and resolve client issues and concerns in a professional demeanor
  • Evaluate and reconcile vendor invoices
  • Responsible for accurate billing of clients work orders
  • Play a pivotal role in maximizing productivity
  • Consistently follow up on the details of work orders from inception to completion
  • Act as the point person for problem resolution and client relations for multiple projects
  • Comply with the company protocol and procedure at all times

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of construction, maintenance and repairs preferred
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Experience in retail stores maintenance and repairs is a strong plus
  • Flexible Schedule: ability to respond to clients, vendors and team members after work hours and weekends on a need basis is required
  • Strong attention to detail and negotiation skills are a plus
  • Exceptional phone and customer service skills – minimum 3 years
  • Computer savvy
  • Positive and upbeat attitude
  • Ability to work from Paramus office
