Leading the development and effective delivery of Maintenance, Reliability, and Project Engineering services for the Decatur Site. Maintenance and Reliability activities include: establishing and managing the maintenance spending budget; establishing and implementing a maintenance productivity improvement plan; and establishing and driving the reliability improvement plan.
  • Leading the site’s engineering activities, including capital & expense projects. This includes responsibility for ensuring engineering process.
  • Implement site processes that ensure that maintenance and project work across the site are conducted in a safe, responsible and environmentally sound manner in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Implement long-term strategies to ensure efficient and cost effective execution of maintenance activities, maintenance standards, reliability, equipment integrity, preventive/predictive maintenance programs, and SAP management.
  • Develop annual budget, control costs, and provide cost analyses and projections.
  • Establish and maintain process for continuous improvement and cost reduction across the site.
  • Work with Operations, Engineering and Business Leadership to develop and update the Decatur Site Project Portfolio. Develop the Decatur site project budget in coordination with the company portfolio and effectively deliver against the plan.
  • Provide general plant technical engineering support (e.g. document control on eng. drawings)
  • Work with the Engineering and Standards network to ensure Best Practices are leveraged across the company.
  • Ensure compliance to the project stage gate process for all projects.

  • 10 years, includes experience in leading a combination of reliability, maintenance, and/or engineering organizations.
  • 10 years in Chemical or Petrochemical Industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Proactive leadership and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Continuous Improvement Tools (CIP).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering customer success.
  • US citizen or green card holder.
