Performs mechanical/electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installations and repair on all machinery and equipment. Has an understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine shop tools and equipment. Must have prior training and/or experience working with and troubleshooting a variety of electrical equipment, including relay and plc driven systems. Also maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds.
Diagnose electrical/mechanical malfunctions and determine the need for adjustment or repair. Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to remove defective part. Replaces defective part with new part or repairs or reproduces part. Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of malfunction. Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment. Repairs, operates, and maintains physical structure of building and equipment.
Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Electronical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot
Msut be able to work 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift hours (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and overtime when available.
