DESCRIPTION

We have a terrific career opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor who can effectively motivate and manage a team of maintenance technicians responsible for maintenance in a manufacturing facility which produces foam insulation. The work is about coaching and developing your staff, improving performance, effectively scheduling the work, and always seeking new and better ways to optimize your team's contribution to the Company.

DUTIES

  • Leading, supervising, hiring, and training the maintenance team.
  • Oversee, schedule and coordinate the Maintenance Technician Team responsible for the upkeep of Manufacturing, related Equipment and Facilities.
  • Manage Planned and Preventative Maintenance Program (Currently using Fast Maintenance).
  • Manage small to medium sized project assignments, such as equipment/process improvement.
  • Manage overall performance including standards, attendance, quality, safety, etc. within the department. Handles routine issues with regards to employee relations.
  • Recruitment, training, termination as well as the administration of performance management.
  • Must maintain an in-depth knowledge of all company policies as well as legal regulations surrounding workplace safety and the use of non-hazardous/hazardous materials. Must ensure that the maintenance staff adheres to these laws and procedures.
  • Timekeeping of direct reports.
  • As needed, the Maintenance Supervisor may be required to perform manual maintenance tasks such as repairing Equipment and acting as a Technical lead as support to the Maintenance Team.
  • Soliciting suppliers and other vendors in order to procure the supplies and/or contractors needed to complete a repair, task or project.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate's Degree in a technical or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in a Maintenance Manufacturing Environment and Supervisory skills.
