About this Opportunity: The Production Maintenance Technician is responsible for trouble shooting and repairing production machinery; both electrical and mechanical including fabrication duties.

Requirements/Expectations: Responsibilities: Support production in the setup of packaging lines for more accurate, swift startups, monitor operations of production equipment and respond to requests for repair in an efficient and timely manner, perform mechanical fabrication for projects, troubleshoot and install new mechanical and electrical equipment, read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.

Requirements include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years industrial, mechanical, or electrical experience
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Prior use of MIG and SMAW welding procedures
  • Metal fabrication experience
  • Pipe Welding experience
  • Experience in installation and repair of pumps, power transmission and piping systems
  • Prior use of computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP or JD Edwards
  • Full-time availability
  • 2 year technical degree in, Industrial Maintenance Mechanics, Welding, Industrial Automation, or an Electrical related field
  • Experience with high speed packaging equipment helpful
