  • Drive sales and profitability
  • Select, train and develop a high performance team
  • Train and inspire a sales oriented staff to build long lasting customer relationships
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers and ensure Associates meet and exceed all customer service standards
  • Maintain Loehmann’s high visual merchandising standards
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Customer Service: Meet and exceed customers’ expectations and ensure team does the same. Create a welcoming, engaging environment where taking care of customers is top priority
  • Merchandise Presentation: Create and Maintain an appealing store environment. Execute merchandise presentation standards to Company expectation
  • Store Operations: Create a schedule based on the needs of the business, attain annual shortage goals, ensure compliance with all safety standards, property and stock room management
  • Expense Management: Effective use of payroll budget, track petty cash and supply spending and manage controllable expenses
  • Human Resources: Select the best candidates, conduct orientation, train and develop, set clear expectations, coach, provide specific and timely feedback

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of distinguished retail leadership experience preferable in a NYC location
  • Proven expertise driving sales and profit
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in all aspects of merchandising, operations, and human resources management
  • Demonstrated communication and time management skills with a knack for prioritizing
  • A proactive, flexible and high energy approach to running a business
  • The confidence to take ownership and assume responsibility
  • Capacity to challenge the status quo and find new ideas and strategies to reach goals
  • The passion to achieve the best, with an unwillingness to accept mediocrity
  • A solid track record as a logical problem solver, employing innovative strategies
  • Strong work ethic and “can do” mentality
  • Desire for continuous improvement and growth both personally and for team members
