Manager/Senior Manager - Loyalty Partnerships & Benefits Analytics-13008081

Description
This role is in the Loyalty Partnerships and Benefits Analytics team (part of the Risk and Information Management Group) and is responsible for driving positive value for customers, partners and shareholders through best-in-class analytics.

In this team, you will have the opportunity to provide critical analytics that drive the strategy behind transformational initiatives that create large gains for American Express such as:
  • Membership Rewards Travel, Retail, and Dining Partnership negotiations
  • Travel Benefits Strategy (e.g. lounge access)
  • Premium Events Access and Concierge Benefits Strategy
  • Developing Next Generation Personalization Capabilities using Digital Assets and Big Data techniques
Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:
  • Experience manipulating and extracting business/customer insights from extremely large, complex datasets
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • A high level of energy and a passion for analytics/working with data
  • A track record of managing multiple projects under tight timelines
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across an organization to drive results
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative decision science field (e.g. econometrics, statistics, engineering)
  • Candidates with an MBA and 2+ years of professional experience in a highly quantitative field will be considered
  • Proficient programming experience in SAS and SQL
  • Experience with experimental design, predictive modeling, or segmentation techniques a plus
  • Experience in the credit card rewards space or travel industry a plus
