Summary of Job Description

SitScape is a developer of award-winning Collaborative UDOP and COP software. We have experienced significant client growth over the past years offering the opportunity for expanded client services. Specific needs include cementing client relationships through the development and delivery of professional product demos and training. SitScape is seeking a Manager – Client Services to work within the Solutions and Client Services department to develop and manage all aspects of a professional, client facing, IT software product training program. The successful candidate will have instructional system/training design experience, formal curriculum development skills, understand adult learning strategies, and have the ability to build an effective client facing education program for an IT software product. The individual will also possess: excellent client service skills, the ability to leverage technology in the education process, strong organizational skills, the desire to pitch in in a variety of roles in an entrepreneurial environment, and innovative thinking married with the follow through to implement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development of instructional design and delivery vehicles (formal classes, computer-based training, self-paced modules, self-development checklists, documentation, proficiency tests, etc.) needed to demonstrate and train clients on the use and application of SitScape’s software Develop the content needed to power all client facing activities, including pre-sales demos and post-sale client education Engage with the Development team on an ongoing basis to understand upcoming product improvements and enhancements and update content to reflect the latest product capabilities Deliver demos and training to a wide variety of clients in the federal and commercial markets, including event preplanning/logistics, delivery, and post-event documentation/follow-up Manage the training program (including training content and delivery vehicles) Offer new and innovative thinking on how to expand and add sophistication to the program as the company grows

Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies in a corporate setting Ability to assimilate new technical concepts in order to identify effective education approaches Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner Strong organizational skills, particularly tracking and managing multiple simultaneous efforts with overlapping deadlines/priorities Strong writing skills and the ability to develop effective written materials (presentations, manuals, flyers, web content, videos) Knowledge of and ability to use formal project management skills in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress Adept at public speaking and comfortable in front of audiences Ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of different groups (IT engineers/developers, salespeople, federal government employees, commercial clients) Proficient user of MS Office tools General IT familiarity and savvy, particularly web-based technologies Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline 3-5 Years of relevant work experience

Desired Qualifications and Skills
Expertise in the application of Adult Learning Theory Strong writing skills and the ability to develop effective written materials Experience developing curriculum that is delivered via technology Knowledge of and ability to use formal project management skills in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress Experience with developing and maintaining client relationships Ability to travel to client locations (20% travel, mostly DC-MD-VA local travel) Proficient user of MS Project Skilled with web-based/CBT training delivery and learning management tools Holder of an active clearance MBA or other relevant graduate degree 5+ Years of relevant work experience

Location: Tyson’s Corner, VA Occasional travel to local clients may be required.
