At Pali Momi Medical Center, the mission is to improve
and advocate for the health and well-being of our
neighbors on Oahu. Located in the suburbs of Honolulu,
the facility is a 116-bed acute care, community-based
hospital that offers the residents of the West Oahu
community quality medical care delivered with a unique
personal touch. They provide the only cardiac
catheterization program in West Oahu and the state’s

The Manager – Health Information Management (HIM)
directs and supervises the Health Information
Department. Primary Departmental functions include
medical chart and record completion, Specifically chart
documentation completeness, filing, deficiency tracking
and reporting, chart JCAHO preparedness and meeting of
JCAHO chart standards, filing of medical chart
documentation and chart storage, tumor registry, chart
revival, chart file maintenance, release of health
information documents and assistance with health
information documentation including planning and
implementation of transition to EMR and e-HIM,
Hawai‘i Pacific Health is Hawai‘i’s largest health care
system including a network of four hospitals, 44
outpatient clinics & service sites, and over 1,300
dedicated physicians across the state. We are 5,400+

excellence. Our facilities include: Kapi‘olani Medical
Center for Women and Children, Pali Momi Medical Center,
Straub Clinic & Hospital and Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration or health related field or equivalent
combination of education, training or other work related
experience. At least two (2) years supervisory
Preferred: Master’s degree. Certification from the
American Health Information Management Association
(AHIMA) preferred. Five (5) years of clinical/hospital
experience. A thorough knowledge of health information
management (medical records) methodology.
