PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Business Process Reengineer - Retirement Plan Services Marketing is responsible for strategic and tactical process modernization, quality management system implementation, data and analytics for the marketing operations team, and support of marketing initiatives for the RPS Product and Marketing organization.
Business Process Reengineering – Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer. Key coordinator between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. Constructs sound, logical business improvement opportunities consistent with Lean Six Sigma guiding principles. Produces business process models, validates the flow and consumption of information/material, and identifies business rules.
Project Lead - Manages and directs multiple projects for the purpose of providing new internal business solutions within the Product and Marketing organization. Works directly with GBS&T to develop technology solutions to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and create capacity. Writes business cases and project charters to gain project buy-in, reviews and approves GBS&T requirements documents, holds project members accountable for milestones and task deliverables, provides report-outs to senior management, and oversees user acceptance testing, implementation, and training.
Governance - Defines and manages process and controls for the creation, consumption, and destruction of marketing collateral and data used in prospect, sponsor, and participant channels. Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding collateral development, maintenance, governance, and restrictions, and communicates guidelines to affected parties throughout enterprise. Participates in lead team compliance meetings to discuss governance, audit findings, and solutions. Ensures Product and Marketing’s adherence to the Corporate Compliance annual review process. Investigates and escalates all instances where standard operating procedures are not met. Provides ongoing education and training on compliance standards.
Marketing Operations Team Metrics and Analytics – Produces, analyzes, and provides reporting on productivity, capacity gains, volumes, forecasting, and quality trends. Provides information to the Marketing Operations Manager and recommends solutions. Implements changes as necessary. Responsible for the integrity of all metrics.
College degree and 4 years of related work experience, or Associate degree and 6 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 8 years related work experience
MS SharePoint development experience
Business Process Improvement (BPI) training (Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt)
Extensive experience with process improvement and reengineering methods
Excellent project leadership skills and ability to organize multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to foster change and deliver business results using effective teamwork, communication and problem identification and resolution skills
Strong knowledge of business processes
Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to lead informally and effectively across business functions
Extensive experience with process reengineering using Lean Six Sigma methodology
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Experience with campaign management systems
