    Manager - Quality and Patient Safety Improvement / NYP Healthcare Systems

    We are seeking a results-driven leader to drive hospital-wide performance as Manager for Quality and Patient Safety Improvement – a career-making opportunity at New York’s #1-ranked hospital (U.S. News & World Report, 2012 -2013).

    In this high visibility role, you will partner with executive leaders to shape institutional goals. You’ll train clinical staff, and encourage adoption of the latest evidence-based advances. And you’ll review data indicators, recommending improvements to a variety of processes.

    Key Criteria

    Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree ( master's highly preferred ) supported by at least three to five years of experience in quality improvement and patient safety environment. Experience working with improvement methodologies including but not limited to: six sigma, LEAN and Model for Improvement required. Previous project management experience is also strongly preferred.

    Expertise in patient safety, hospital workflow and systems such as Eagle and TSI is required. Strong creativity, problem-solving and analytical skills are key.
