The Manager of Liquidity Risk will effectively assist in overseeing the enterprise-wide liquidity exposure, including regulated and deregulated wholesale energy hedging / trading activity, as well as asset development and material integrated supply chain proposals.

Monitor liquidity exposure and provide recommendations to optimize the use of economic capital.

Conducts external research that leads to new insights on industry trends, competitor strategy, liquidity enhancement products and relative performance (e.g., benchmarking peer economics)

Ensure liquidity risk policies/procedures approved by Executive Management are complied with; develop changes when warranted.

Develop reporting structure to communicate current and forecasted liquidity exposure to Executive Management.

Assist in managing departmental financial resources for maximum benefit to the company, effectively set and prioritize goals.

Effectively supervise a team of liquidity analysts


Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field.

Master's degree and / or professional qualification preferred (e.g. CFA, CPA).

This position requires an individual with at least 3 years of power and gas industry experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant risk management or analytical function, as well as supervisory experience.

Broad knowledge and understanding of finance and financial markets & services preferred.

Successful candidate will be commercially minded, have superior interpersonal and organizational capabilities, excellent written skills with the ability to verbally communicate clearly and concisely, and have a proven track record in driving results.

Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
