Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Manager in the Department of Institutional Effectiveness. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, the manager is responsible for the areas of data management, analysis, and assessment for institutional planning at all levels of the organization. The manager will communicate with College administrators, faculty, staff, and external agencies to coordinate/conduct data gathering, research studies, assessment, and analysis to be used for strategic planning, procedure development and/or review, program development, program review or accreditation requirements. Through these efforts, the manager will provide direction in the design, development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of institutional research activities and oversee all survey administration processes; including survey development, design, sampling, data collection, data analysis, reporting and results dissemination.
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Education Research or related field plus 3-5 years experience in design and implementation of planning, research and assessment activities is required. Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative assessment, research design, statistical methodology and database systems supporting research activities. Advanced knowledge/skills in Excel, relational databases and applied statistical analyses are required.
