With the development of the US market and the competitive nature our of industry, our organization's reliance on market and business intelligence continues to intensify. The manager of Business Anaytics will work to ensure that the company has the necessary data and information for strategic planning, ongoing daily operational decisions and strategic decision making. The Business Analytics team, under the management of this role should provide focused expertise in market research and business analytics that supports senior management in maintaining the organizations competitive positioning and providing in-depth analysis towards discovering new opportunities for the company's continued growth.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead the design and development of analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive growth opportunities, competitive strategies, customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies
  • Identify opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analysis to drive market and customer insights
  • Discover new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modeling
  • Work with business owners to identify critical decisions and needs; business owners include the leadership team, sales, finance & accounting, marketing, business development and operations
  • Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools
  • Hire, train, and supervise Analytics team and ensure that team meets the reporting and analytical needs of the business users.

  • The non-essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform.
  • Oversee internal status reporting.
  • Perform other job functions as required.

  • Experience/Training:
  • BA in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing strongly preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience an Analyst role.
  • Experience in market data interpretation and presentation.
  • Business Intelligence power user as well as experience consulting with development team on Business Intelligence requirements.
  • Strong creative and analytical mindset; must have the wherewithal to create and implement new business strategies and tactics.
  • Must be an Excel power user and be proficient in at least the following: Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and written skills with exceptional attention to detail.
