Team Manager

Reports To: Associate Director, Client & Media Strategy

Oversees: Senior Strategist, Strategist, Associate Strategist

Role Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of display strategists
  • Coordinate and lead client on-boarding & discovery
  • Assist teams in following Morpheus CRM and client procedures
  • Allocate internal resources, prioritize client needs across the team, and manage vendor relationships
  • Train, motivate and develop Associates and Strategists
  • Train clients in digital concepts, best practices & trends
  • Learn & gather information on industry trends & technology - present & teach findings agency wide
  • Work with Biz Dev on creation of SOWs and renewal needs
  • Help all team members facilitate and build strong client relationships, as well as, find new team processes
  • Oversight of team process creation and implementation
  • Create and manage team wide training procedures and manage team wide projects
  • Ensuring quality & timely delivery of client deliverables
  • Oversight of high level client issues and creation of cross discipline long and short term strategies for clients
  • Attend all team meetings and all agency trainings to cross pollinate information to team
  • Provide cross discipline solutions that are tactical and strategic to client requests
  • Work with Senior and Strategist team members to ensure client objectives are met
  • Approve client billing prior to being submitted to accounting

  • Advanced client and team leadership qualities and able to perform as a leader with minimal supervision
  • Agency wide leadership: management/discipline
  • Demonstrates advanced professionalism, presentation skills, and project management capability
  • Ability to craft and present high level strategies to client executive teams
  • Ability to maintain strong client relationships
  • Must be able to take & apply all forms of constructive criticism
  • Ability to create or identify processes to improve team efficiency and productivity
  • Create long-term strategy on a high level and translate client goals into actionable strategy
  • Draw critical analysis from data and make specific recommendations
  • Cross pollinate ideas and strategy from all disciplines
  • Complete understanding of all tool sets, their value proposition and uses and the ability to speak at an authoritative level to all disciplines
  • Complete understanding of third party vendor capabilities (creative agencies, 3rd party tracking tools, etc.)
  • Must have 3-5 years of experience executing digital media plans
