Job Description:
Negotiates grape contracts and maintains high-quality
grape supplies consistent with pricing guidelines.
Maintains strong relationships between growers and
winemakers for their respective brands Acts to
continually improve the grape supply by working with
growers and vineyard directors to implement quality
enhancing wine growing practices. Works closely with the
regional contract administration staff to ensure the
highest level of accuracy and legality in all
contractual activities. Maintains timely and accurate
crop estimation and pricing data with HMS according to
the regular calendar of activities or as requested.
Represents the company in various industry technical
groups, seminars, conferences, etc. Gives tours, talks
and presentations to other Constellation Brands
personnel as requested
Assists with viticulture and budget activities on
internally controlled vineyards with the goal of
obtaining the highest quality grapes. Assists with
viticulture practices, replanting plans and annual and
long-range yield estimates.

Job Requirements:
BS degree in Viticulture, Enology or related field with
3-5 years of experience. Should have a background in
agriculture or horticulture.
Strong written and oral communication skills and able to
write in a concise manner contratual-related language.
Must have strong negotiation and conflict resolution
skills and able to resolve complex legal/financial
issues between growers aand the winery with diplomacy
and professionalism.
Strong computer skills including the use of MS Excel,
Word and/or PowerPoint.
Should have a strong background in viticulture,
winemaking and wine production with general knowledge of
factors influencing wine quality including soils,
rootstock, varietal suitability, viticulture practices
etc.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and able to work
extended hours during the growing and harvest season.
Person will work in hot and cold weather and spend
significant time driving to vineyards with occasional
trips to off-site meetings.
Must have valid Drivers License and clean DMV record
