DeviantART°s Marketing department is looking for a Manager, Marketing/Web Analytics, to help organize, augment, and maintain our Web analytics and business intelligence efforts. We are looking for someone who is data driven, skilled in Web traffic and user data analytics, technically savvy, a strong communicator, highly organized, and self-motivated. This highly visible role is a great opportunity for the right candidate to help deviantART improve decision-making and assist in the identification of new opportunities. What we°re looking for: A strong understanding of online analytics and how to synthesize large amounts of behavioral data Exposure to user-centric product development and design Experience working with multiple data sources (online, offline, site analytics, media, e-mail) to analyze marketing campaign performance Know-how around developing and managing KPIs / Marketing Scorecards for product launches and the ability to make recommendations for improvements Example responsibilities: Support the analytical and reporting needs of the Marketing team -- collaborating to create, evaluate, and improve data-driven marketing strategies Move deviantART°s Web/traffic analytics needs forward by managing Google Analytics, and ensuring the information is implemented and managed correctly Add URL campaign tags and event tracking to user interface components to gauge feature utilization, success, and conversion Establish baselines and A/B test funnels for site launches, user interaction with products, etc., and track unverified user behavior Communicate and address data anomalies, gaps, issues, etc., and present solutions to improve user experience Recognize how users interact with our products by reviewing past results and post analysis in order to help the team make better decisions Support all facets of the decision-making process and work with our technology teams to identify gaps in data capture strategy and implement enhancements Take responsibility for the development, standardization, and production of reports that track effectiveness of Marketing initiatives Requirements: 4 to 6 + years of work experience, with proven quantitative and analytical skills Background in multivariate product testing, SEO, SEM, e-mail, and social media marketing Highly skilled at using Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel -- knowledge of SQL is a plus Strong track record of analytical problem-solving, and setting and achieving goals with a drive towards actionable insights Intimate knowledge of the nuances of digital tracking technologies coupled with adept data management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
