Century Fox Home Entertainment is looking for a Marketing Manager. This position reports to the Executive Director of International Marketing is part of the Global Home Entertainment team and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
Work extensively with cross-functional peers in major international markets, regions, and in the Los Angeles home office. As part of the home office marketing team, help lead all activity related to optimizing the transactional (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital) performance of FOX shows and distributed labels.
In charge of driving the business and meeting the division goals for a segment of products, by recommending strategy to management and right owners, setting clear goals, communicating strategies to territories, providing necessary tools, and monitoring activity.
Coordinate all aspects of central product marketing development, including briefing, scheduling, consumer research, market/competitive analysis, creative development, consumer promotions and publicity.
Servicing role: provide timely information and materials to territories, either directly or thru briefing and monitoring of functional services (Research, Finance, DVD content and ops, Creative, Publicity, Online and Promotion).
P&L accountability: recommend and monitor central investment in fixed cost for each release and their segment (DVD content and localization, creative and internet assets, central publicity activity), monitor forecast (together with Finance department), report results and activity to Fox management.
Dialogue with territory: Communicate strategy with aim of achieving consensus. Enrich strategy with territory input, identify servicing needs and share best practices and learnings.
Dialogue with studios and right owners: Communicate strategy, get buy-in on assets and investment levels and communicate results.
Work with Executive Director on ad-hoc projects as needed
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 5 years marketing experience required
Must have a combination of brand marketing, international and home entertainment experience
Ability to be proactive, prioritize multiple important projects and work without constant supervision
Strong understanding of digital transactional business
Must be innovative and always consider both digital transactional and marketing opportunities
Analytical skills, demonstrating an ability to recommend and implement business opportunities based on synthesizing data
Strong understanding of Finance
Adept multi-tasker dealing with multiple projects at once
In-depth understanding of trade marketing/sales function
Proficient at establishing relationships with cross-functional peers
Flexibility, ability to work under tight timelines
Good humor, positive and passionate approach to work
Strong attention to detail while being able to understand the big picture
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Passion/expertise in TV and film
