Scope & Knowledge:
Scope (Primary Responsibilities)
Develops and executes Marketing Change Management projects involving people, process, and/or technology changes), including direct accountability for the successful execution of his/her assigned projects
Drives integration and collaboration across key project participants (e.g., business partners, marketing departments, IT, Compliance)
Ensures stakeholder engagement and effective communications across projects
Enables visibility through transparent and accurate reporting, at both a project team (detailed) and senior management (summary) level
Drives change adoption through employee readiness and control plans
Manages integration points with areas such as finance, risk, and audit
Shares best practices and lessons learned with the Marketing Change Management Team

Job Complexity: Successfully managed projects with 10 or more resources through full project lifecycle. Leads large and / or high-risk projects. Responsible for meeting strategic objectives of the project including overall revenue and profit objectives within scope, cost, and schedule. Identifies and manages dependencies and downstream impacts of the project to minimize adverse effects on other projects and / or programs.
Interaction: Manages stakeholder and project team communications. Reviews project performance and status reports. Reviews and decides upon change requests with oversight from the program manager. Escalates change requests to Steering Committee as appropriate. Creates communications management plans outlining stakeholder needs and reporting cadence. Defines reporting relationships within a project. Leads project kickoffs to define expectations. Effectively, negotiates tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget. Gains alignment on project needs and expectations from multiple groups .
Oversight/Freedom to Act:
Report into the Program Manager II who is responsible for managing the Marketing Change Management Team
Accountable for the successful execution of projects to which they are assigned
Ability to present and support key project decisions to an advisory and/or steering committee prior to execution.
Ability to make schedule, scope and budget adjustments at the project level with oversight from the program manager and project sponsor.
Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work.
Specialties: Program Management, Project Management, Change Management Qualifications
5 years’ experience in project and/or program management during which he/she applied a structured approach (methodology) to the successful management, tracking, planning, monitoring, and reporting of concurrent, multiple projects spanning broad geographies and organizations
2 years’ experience in managing large-scale projects through the full project lifecycle, from conception through rollout and ongoing support (projects involving extensive people, process, and technology changes)
2 years’ experience in managing several (1-2) medium- to large-scale projects simultaneously
2 years’ experience in managing Financial Services projects
Experience in understanding the relationship of their project(s) to the program and overall portfolio
May have experience managing vendors as part of a project team
May have experience in measuring and managing benefits
May have experience in managing complex integration points / dependencies
Experience interfacing with Senior Management
Bachelor’s degree required
No certifications required
