Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who will function in a management-level, hands-on capacity for the development of industry leading File Transfer Workflow (BPM) applications. Responsible for leading other developers, and collaborating with QA, architects, product owners, and program management in an Agile/Scrum environment. This candidate will apply advanced interpersonal communications, process discipline and top-notch technical skills to design and develop state of the art Workflow based File Transfer applications.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
This role is ideal for an experienced technology and engineering manager to make their mark and innovate in the fast growing File Transfer and B to B market. You'll be responsible for leading a high impact development team in the area of business process workflow as it relates to managed file transfer.

Specific responsibilities:
Set technology strategy for product line development of all Workflow (BPM) technologies

Staff and run a small, multi-site development team, to ensure it is highly effective, efficient, and utilizing the latest software development techniques

Ensure the engineering processes, from conception through to deployment, delivers high quality architecture and user experience

Working with other organizations to prioritized, defined, developed, and launch Workflow features

Develivery of Security and TDD best practices

Work with technical services to ensure supportability of the products

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Staff and manage geographically diverse development team

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering

5+ years directly managing and growing high potential engineers; preferably cross discipline

Successful product deliveries utilizing Agile/Scrum methodology

Experience in Business Process Managment (BPM), with BPEL and Editor design a plus

Experience leading teams that develop Internet quality applications

Proven leadership skills: mentoring, coaching, collaboration; formal technical leadership desired

Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and initiatives

Proven ability to run projects through full project cycle and to deliver exceptional results, despite challenges

Ability to discuss architectural trade-offs in large, high volume, multi-tier systems

Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills, with ability to partner cross-functionally to deliver results

A track record for exceptional analytic, creative, and innovative problem solving

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
