Job Function/Purpose:

Provide Manufacturing Engineering support for Manufacturing area. In addition to daily support of ongoing productions issues, this will include providing Design for Manufacturing input on new products as well as supporting the implementation of the product into the manufacturing area and our contract manufacturing partners.

1 Act as technical focal point for the manufacturing support activities with a primary focus on supporting our production builds.

2 Actively participate in problem prevention and resolution. Identify the root cause of problems and determine our production builds.

3 Support manufacturing including the resolution of production and field related problems (if required) for new products.

4 Apply analytical expertise and creative problem solving to resolve technical issues.

5 Incorporate lessons learned into the engineering design guidelines as well as develop new design guidelines as needed.

6 Participate in the continuous review of failure trend data, DFM, DTC, etc. data with the purpose of continuous improvement.

7 Plan and implement Manufacturing plans and work stations to support production activities.

8 Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and work instructions within the Electronic Routing System process.

Job Requirements:

Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical discipline required from four-year college or university

Experienc e: Three to Five years manufacturing experience including;

- Prefer Manufacturing Sustaining and Contract Manufacturing support experience.

- Electro/Mechanical Manufacturing Build Box experience.

- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Demonstrated ability to work with computers in a manufacturing environment.

- Able to function effectively in a team environment.

- Able to perform data analysis and drive improvement.
