Writing computer programs to support manufacturing systems data collection and analysis functions within Supply Chain.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Write web-based computer programs, using the Ruby scripting language.
Write unit test and other test cases.
Execute tests and document code.
3rd year (or higher) BSCS student; Similar BSEE if strong software background
Summer intern, should have some experience (including coursework) with web-based programming.
Strong Preference for ability to program in the ruby programming language. Should have working knowledge of database programming. (Need not be expert in SQL, but should understand basics of databases, possibly from coursework) A student who has completed the EdX/Berkeley 169.1X class (Software as a Service), or equivalent, would be well qualified for this internship.
Will be using some or all of these tools. Don’t need all of them, but preference is for candidates with some exposure to these: Rspec, Cucumber, Selenium, Eclipse
