Provides technical leadership, guidance, and work direction for subordinate personnel, furnishing them with training and general instructions to support precision fabrication activities. Performs as a lead specialist in Laser Tracker measurement and operation. Emphasis in these activities is on the practical, rather than academic, aspects of engineering and technology.

Requires approximately twelve years concentrated technical experience, or the equivalent in combined education and experience, including at least four years Manufacturing Engineering or Quality Assurance experience dealing GD&T measurement systems and or machining/fabrication processes.
High level of oral and written skills. Mastery of general manufacturing and manufacturing engineering principles. Extremely good problem solving and analytical skills. Advanced computer skills. Solid understanding of and ability to apply and explain Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles in a manufacturing setting. Ability to work safely in a heavy manufacturing environment. Ability to lead by example.
