We currently have an Manufacturing Manager opportunity available with our Corporate China strategic business unit available.

The position will require an up and coming leader with a strong blend of both strategic and tactical approaches to operational and business objectives, leveraging engineering background and manufacturing experience
to drive operational results of up to three manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Manager will spend uo to 80% of the time working in China.

Responsibilities (Text Only):

Work with Research & Development and Manufacturing departments to provide guidance for the development of manufacturing process plans for products and material needs.

Plan and direct and/or conduct system quality audits on a regular basis, and interpret and support the company’s manufacturing policies and activities to customers and regulatory agencies.

Ensures all employee safety, manufacturing and overhead cost, and product quality objectives are met.

Leads and participates in the continuous improvement and manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities.

Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational and manufacturing problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Develops and implements effective communication plans to keep Plant Management, Corporate, and direct/ indirect reports well-informed regarding business objectives, priorities, results, initiatives, changes, etc.

Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate accounting, inventory control and additional financial tools designed to support the manufacturing managers and drive decisions and actions that are cost-effective

Qualifications (Text Only):

All applicants must speak fluent Chinese, have a valid passport and be willing to work in China up to 80% of the time.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering , experience in exterior building products a plus 5+ years of increasing responsibility in manufacturing roles.

24-hour accountability for the Operations Department; must be available round-the-clock to provide guidance and direction to address any issues that impact the operation and/or the Company.

Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on business needs.

Must be able to read and write in Chinese.
