Support the Packaging Center of Excellence to ensure its capability to deliver quality product, on time, safely and effectively to meet our customers’ needs. Work with the team to develop a culture of accountability, empowerment, continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration celebration of good work and involvement and development of all people within the Value Stream.Responsible for the implementation of Corporate Training Governance processes in Value Stream to ensure compliance to cGMP requirements. Targets improvement to training effectiveness and reliability, learner proficiency, instructional design, training implementation, adherence to training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), trainer qualifications, training system audits, training reporting and escalation processes, and training needs assessments. Ensures compliance to cGMP training requirements for employees in their operation.

Works collaboratively with the Corporate Training team and the VSO leadership.Responsibilities: Develop/maintain task-training outlines and training matrices for the process team members.Develop equipment-training documents for operation and cleaning of manufacturing and packaging equipment.Establish standardized methods of training using a diverse range of training materials.Develop and implement training program. This will include responsibilities for the instructional design and delivery of employee technical training programs.Research external and internal resources for existing materials that meet needs or address skill gaps.Evaluate and maintain training recordsUtilize ETS to document training of operators.Involvement with management in the acquisition of new equipment.Oversee and be involved in training in various quality management topics (MES, BPCS, SPC, SCADA, SAP, cGMP, Safety).Participate in and conduct department training programs.Communicate and work with Supervisors and coordinators to coordinate and schedule training and certificationsTransfer training techniques to the process teamsContinuously learn new equipment processes.Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal (FDA, DEA, EPA, OSHA), state and local regulations. Ensure and monitor adherence to all company policies and procedures relating to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Health, Safety, and Environmental Protection and company policies and procedures is essential.Review and write SOPs (i.e. new equipment).

Maintain competent, professional platform training and facilitation skills.Work with all Value Stream counterparts to develop a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration with celebration of good work and involvement, and development of all people within the Value Stream.Develop key indicators that measure the value of training in terms of performance improvement or behavior change.Identify the developmental needs of others and provide coaching, mentoring, and encouragement to help others to improve their knowledge or skills.Act as an effective change agent in the organizationProvides guidance and directions to team membersRecommends future directions within area of expertiseServes as prime contact for department trainingIdentifies potential process improvementsWorks toward long-range goals and objectivesRequirements: Skills: Strong communication skillsLeadership and motivate skillsAnalytical and problem solving skillsExcellent collaborative skillsEducation/experience: Bachelor degree (preferred) or equivalent experiencePrior training experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 3 years production experienceProject Management experience preferredAbilities: Lead functional and multi-functional teams in a changing environmentPromote flexibility and teamwork by being a team player and team builderEmbrace new ideas aligned with the vision and values and encourage change Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with potentially conflicting requirementsAnticipate, identify, and resolve customer needs by understanding business plans and operating environmentKnowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of GMPsLEAN manufacturing processesTraining/learning methods
