The Market Leader I (Branch Manager) is responsible for business development within their designated market area/office by proactively initiating, developing, and managing relationships through the delivery of bank products and services. The ML I will work closely with the business partners within the designated market area/office to target consumer and small business clients and prospects with banking needs to generate sales and referrals. The ML I is responsible for supervising and directing the strategies of their office, ensuring consistent, predictable, and exceptional client service is provided, products are delivered, and policies and procedures are followed. The ML I has management and coaching responsibilities for the Personal Bankers and the Lead Tellers within their office.
This position requires the associate to drive on behalf of the Bank and the associate must adhere to Bank's Motor Vehicle Guidelines. In compliance with the S.A.F.E. Act, registration in the NMLS Registry is required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Proactive daily client contact either by phone or in person to identify additional client financial needs and strengthen client relationships within designated market area.
Proactive daily prospect contact either by phone or in person to identify financial needs and initiate client relationships within designated market area.
Works closely with other lines of business to participate in joint calling efforts on clients and prospects. Supports designated market area sales processes by referral to appropriate business partners.
Will assist President and Sales Coach in writing Market Action Plans establishing goals and evaluating results for the market. Goals may include, but are not limited to, sales/cross sells, deposit and loan growth, expense control, and production targets.
Will actively participate in community organizations and events to generate goodwill and business development opportunities for their market.
Is accountable for providing sales leadership within assigned offices. Promotes, motivates, coaches, and coordinates sales and referral activities to attain office production goals.
Interviews and hires Market Leaders, Personal Banker Lead Associates, Personal Bankers, and Lead Tellers, with support from Human Resources, in adherence to the approved staffing model.
Conducts performance appraisals, evaluates promotions and transfers, and makes salary recommendations for their direct reports. Works with Human Resources on all associate relations issues.
Provides consistent, predictable, and exceptional client service to assure quality client experiences.
Resolves client situations when escalated, initiating client contact if appropriate.
Is a champion for the Bank’s client satisfaction survey, client relationship management, and sales tracking processes.
Supervises office security for assigned office.
May work as a Personal Banker on the platform as needed according to the staffing model.
Participates in 360 Performance Appraisals with President, Market Leader, RSC, and RSA.
All associates must understand and adhere to the non-negotiable Banker Standards and commit to practicing SGNNT at all times. Associates will consistently follow policies and procedures as established by Capital City Bank, with department managers setting the standard.
Provides additional support to manager and department colleagues.
