As we enter our second year of reimagined and reinvented research in the Edelman network, we are positioned to develop solutions for clients that keep their customers at the center of their strategy, marketing and innovation efforts.We seek motivated intern candidates who are interested in learning superior research skills (quantitative and qualitative in nature) alongside some of the best in the industry. Candidates must be naturally curious and have a passion for understanding human behavior while becoming an expert with our tools of measurement, customized surveys and communities. We’re looking for interns who are able to deliver amidst the dynamic pace of a client service business – multi-tasking is key! Moreover, an understanding of the marketing, public relations, media current events and pop-culture are all relevant as we are the research specialty group within Edelman (the largest global PR firm).

Basic Qualifications:
Quick learner who works well both independently and as part of a larger team

Ability to multi-task and work effectively with a variety of account service staff and client accounts in a fast paced environment

Strong organizational/logistics skills, with an equally powerful eye for detail

Superior verbal and written communication skills – the ability to take a big picture idea and communicate it clearly through charts or words, are important attributes successful candidates demonstrate .

Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite

Specifically, excellent PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create slides and charts that convey key research findings

And lastly, personal accountability, a strong work ethic and professional demeanor along with a positive “can do” attitude are keys to success at Edelman Berland

Potential responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Quality control measures for survey links and presentation documents

Conduct background research for potential client engagements – issues of importance, companies, institutions, candidates, etc.

Assist with report creation (for both qualitative and quantitative research projects), including analysis, data entry, and chart/table creation in Excel/PPT

Run basic quantitative analyses and be very comfortable working with numbers

Detailed note taking in client calls and meetings

Monitor media for relevant new events and public polling relevant to the client portfolio

To tell you a little more about our internship program:
Positions are filled year round and are open to all levels of college attendees, including post grad.

The duration of the internship is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.

Interns are paid $10.00 per hour, plus overtime.
