The Role:

As a Market Sales Manager , located in New York City, you will create positive sales revenue growth and achievement of sales revenue targets. Your expertise to find, qualify and close new business through end user opportunities, working in conjunction with dealers, industry and market influencers will result in sales revenue quota attainment. Through your demonstrated expertise in our sales process you will rise to the top list of sales performers in our industry as you assist in closing or directing business towards Kimball Office.

The person in this position must be able to build and maintain solid long term relationships with market influencers as they work towards driving business for Kimball Office. The person will work closely with fellow teammates in the territory as well as the corporate support team located at our headquarters in Jasper Indiana. The successful candidate will be the main point of contact between the customer and Kimball Office and will have responsible for providing product solutions for our customers. They will need to fully understand and successfully communicate the Kimball Office package of value. To be successful the candidate must be self motivated, possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be able to develop long term relationships. The person primarily works with our customers and coordinates with our corporate office to find win-win solutions.

Basic QualIfications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related area of emphasis preferred.
  • Related field sales and field sales management experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Demonstrated track record of sales success
  • Validated sales skills and success
  • Ability to gain access to key influencers within the market and key individuals at the influencer locations
