Works directly with the Marketing Team to provide centralized marketing support and creative sales solutions to our advisors, assistants and financial institutions.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Marketing/Sales Consultant will work cohesively together as a team to initiate, generate and maintain relationships and marketing & sales activity through daily communication with the advisors, assistants, financial institutions, management, and the firm’s product partners
Develop and implement an annual marketing plan and call campaigns to assist the firm’s advisors on increasing revenue
Coordinate with Advertising Review on the approval of marketing/advertising materials and campaigns
Assist in the development & implementation of ICA’s Social Media Programs
Assist in coordinating, writing and the development of ICA’s Newsletter and other duties as assigned by management
ICA Website. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Gathering marketing/advertising ideas for posting on a timely basis and updating the marketing archive
Continually streamlining the Marketing Tab for timely articles and outdated materials
Coordinate and develop timely marketing campaigns and materials that can be used across the independent and financial institution channels
Coordinate conference calls with advisors and assistants for marketing & sales solutions
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
Position requires a large amount of interaction by telephone; must be comfortable making proactive calls to our financial advisors for marketing ideas and have excellent customer service experience and handling unique client personalities
Familiarity with sales, operational and technical systems and processes
Must be effectively able to interact with all departments in a collaborative environment
Strong organizational and time management skills necessary
Must be excellent in problem solving and finding resolutions
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and balance numerous priorities on a timely basis
Ease in working in a fast paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Adobe and InDesign Software
Education and Experience Required
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
A minimum of two years financial services experience preferred
FINRA Series 7, Series 63, 65 or 66 licenses required or must attain within 18 months
State insurance license preferred, not required
