To support, under the direction of the marketing communications manager, the
protective coatings (PC) central marketing and market management groups with an
extensive range of marketing services.
1. Support the creative development of brand(s) identity and messaging in
alignment with strategy and growth plans. Executed through a variety of
2. Support the development of graphic design and copy writing services for PC
Central Marketing and market segment teams. This includes creation and/or review
of outsourced design of advertisements, brochures, merchandising and trade show
graphics, email newsletters and promotions, intranet and internet websites,
product track records and project case histories.
3. Tradeshow planning and execution. This includes the development and execution
of message and presence at selected tradeshows.
4. Liaise with World Wide Marketing group relative to local execution of global
branding elements and ensure alignment with WW Strategy and standards.
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Art or related Liberal Arts from an accredited
3-5 years experience in marketing communications or related field.
Proficient in MS Office to include MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Proficient in digital graphic arts tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
Working knowledge web design tools
Knowledgeable with digital marketing concepts and campaign execution
Analytical / quantitative skills with MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and present information
Possess good interpersonal communication skills and be team oriented
Be customer centric (internal and external customers)
Ability to operate in a highly technical business to business environment
Coatings experience a plus
Sales experience a plus
Ability to travel up to 10% annually
Bilingual Spanish a plus
