Position Overview

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Database Marketing, the Marketing Analyst is responsible for providing information and insights regarding campaign effectiveness, customers, markets, and competitors, to measure performance and support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and managing various research projects, and be able to work closely with senior management to interpret findings.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns and sales activities
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes to increase profitability
  • Manage market segmentation, targeting, and positioning exercises as needed
  • Build a marketing dashboard that visualizes key performance indicators
  • Complete competitive analysis to maintain our competitive advantages
  • Ensure integrity of database and participate in ongoing data cleanup
  • Provide timely, in-depth analysis and reporting on marketing campaigns
  • Oversee the preparation and dissemination of key marketing reports/metrics to stakeholders
  • Analyze results of programs to identify weakness and create plans for improvement; closely monitor and optimize data integrity and conversion percentages

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing or market research with demonstrable experience analyzing data
  • Strong understanding of demand gen/sales funnel science; fluent in all content marketing, email marketing
  • Strong project management, business writing, organizational and reporting skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines, even as priorities shift
  • Solid business acumen, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • SalesForce and Marketing Automation experience required; Access experience beneficial
  • Strong computer skills, including business intelligence and reporting software. Must know MS Office
  • BA/BS in Marketing or Business or equivalent history of creative and successful lead generation programs
