The Marketing Communications Manager oversees the strategic and creative development of sales-driven marketing solutions targeted for the Life Insurance business unit.
Act as a strategic partner with internal clients to provide communication expertise.
Manage complex marketing communication projects to produce high quality sales-building marketing literature and campaigns.
Manage product launches, including the messaging, creative and distribution methods for product launches (Sales collateral, HTML emails, Flash presentations, Micro sites and direct mail).
Blend marketing knowledge with product, underwriting, advanced markets knowledge in messaging, positioning and the creation of sales collateral and sales tools.
Oversees the execution of integrated communication launches (direct mail, internal communications, web content).
Collaborate with the distribution group with e-newsletter development, marketing material customization to firm messaging, HTML emails and co-branding opportunities.
At least 7 years of work experience in marketing communications.
Project management and strategic development experience.
Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and presenting to all levels of management, internal and external stakeholders.
Expert knowledge of the creative development process.
Leverage new and unique marketing approaches to the Life Insurance business campaigns, including online marketing (Flash, emails, video).
Executes a high degree of judgment and independent decision-making.
People management and coaching skills to provide clear creative direction and to motivate and inspire a creative team.
