Faithful+Gould in Chicago is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to provide marketing support to the local office and/or region as needed. You will provide professional design, development, and production of custom and standard marketing materials including proposals, qualifications and presentations.

Typical duties and responsibilities of this position include:

Manages proposal process from start to finish. Works with technical staff to plan, write, design and produce all proposal and presentation materials for potential clients.

Writes and maintains project profiles for all current and past projects to be used in proposals.

Prepares and updates resumes for all staff members.

Maintains client database and performs correspondence duties as needed.

Develops and maintains marketing information systems and records, including staff resumes, project profiles and photography, project and corporate references, technical data, office events, conference calendars and other standard materials.

Reviews industry-related opportunities and routes appropriately; actively participates in go/no go decisions; maintains tracking system.

Leads the development of interview presentation materials and coach team.

Communicates and collaborates with marketing staff in other offices as well as corporate marketing.

Manages office inventory of marketing collateral and client gifts.

Develops and maintains accurate, current database(s) of industry contacts for mailings.

Coordinates displays for local and regional industry trade shows as needed. Attends trade shows and client events as needed.

Assists with gathering market research.

Maintains and enforces company brand standards and quality control procedures.

Assists in development of local marketing plans, market analysis and business development.

Job Details

We are seeking a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:

High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience in marketing or communications OR an Associate's Degree in a related field plus two years related experience. Architectural, engineering or construction firm experience is preferred.

Must have a technical understanding and experience with the proposal production process in a service environment.

Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress and deadline driven environment with strong attention to detail; excellent prioritization and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, the ability to follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision; and a strong spirit of teamwork and outstanding collaborative interpersonal skills.

Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
