We are seeking a Senior Marketer to lead the launch of our new company brand and the online launch of our new line of consumer products. Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Director/VP is a critical role in our organization. This person is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and implementation that maximizes revenue and profitability for our online efforts. This position will be accountable for day-to-day ecommerce marketing activities, including managing our internal sites as well as those of affiliates. The role is also responsible for supporting and expanding our international channels expanding into new markets. Candidate must have extensive successful online marketing experience of consumer products, be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment and able to work independently.
Create and implement online marketing and sales strategy.
Execute the online marketing strategy, which will include all aspects of SEO, SEM, PPC, affiliate networks, prospect re-marketing and trigger email campaigns. Define and meet targeted CPA goals for each channel.
Develop, monitor and continually improve UI/customer experience, leading to improving site conversion. Launch new products as developed by the company.
Identify and execute new advertising opportunities (e.g. social/community marketing, online display, PR) and continually improve effectiveness of these programs.
Ensure consistent creative/messaging across all channels.
Produce and analyze regular reporting to monitor progress vs. goals (e.g. CPA and conversion rates by channel) and to measure the performance of marketing campaigns.
Support profitable growth of multilingual sites; manage SEO and SEM, manage SEO teams and PPC results.
Monitor industry trends and competing Web sites; provide analysis of competitive landscape.
Recruit, build and lead overall marketing team while also working with outside agencies for PR and other marketing functions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years consumer products and service experience in the high-tech segment.
Ecommerce marketing experience with a proven track record of success.
Subject matter expert and demonstrated competency in SEO, SEM and affiliate marketing.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively in a fast- based, dynamic small company environment; willingness to roll-up sleeves; flexible.
