Work with practice administrators and practice entity CEO to develop and implement a strategic marketing plan that identifies target audiences and critical marketing goals for current and forthcoming hospital practices.
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for each practice with measurable outcomes to achieve business goals with input from practice administrators, physicians, physician operations corporate marketing.
Interface with Physician Referral Development Specialists to identify priorities to build physician-to-physician relationship .
Work with hospital marketing directors to analyze market research, competitor strategies and industry trends .
Manage the development and use of marketing and promotional materials (including advertising, brochures and other collateral materials, news releases, web content, etc.).
Coordinate and manage vendors, including freelance marketing talent, to ensure that the practice entity receives excellent service and the best value for marketing expenditures.
Provide up-to-date information and content for practice web sites and practice sites to ensure appropriate use as a business and marketing tool .
Proactively build strong media relationships, secure positive news stories and respond to reporter inquiries directed to a practice and work with Corporate Director of Marketing to coordinate media relationships, responses and inquiries .
Plan and oversee seminar opportunities, community outreach, and health screening opportunities for the practices.
Support practice entity initiatives to build community relationships through active involvement in community organizations and partnerships.
Work with corporate marketing personnel to assure an appropriate process of review and approval for all marketing initiatives, communications, and media relations.
Employee has willingness and ability to perform additional duties in different areas of the department/hospital on an as-needed basis.
Communicates well with management, co-workers and physicians, reporting problems with equipment, supplies or procedures.
Consistently strives to understand, anticipate and meet the needs, expectations and satisfaction of patients, visitors, co-workers and medical staff.
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, public relations, advertising or journalism.
Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare marketing experience; specific experience working with physicians is preferred. Analytical skills with previous experience developing strategic market plans. A proven track record in establishing and maintaining positive media relationships. A proven track record of achieving marketing goals and demonstrating results for previous employers. Understanding of the hospital’s market, competitive dynamics and local media. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
