is responsible for all upstream and downstream marketing activities including developing/refining the go-to-market strategy, sales support and activities to achieve the annual revenue plan. Education and awareness of sales and service teams, buyers, and other industry influencers; driving demand for Joerns products (through integrated marketing campaigns and promotions). Additional duties include development and utilization of KOL’s, and development/management of product partnerships.

Develop and implement product line roadmap and rationalization initiatives.
Develop and implement go-to-market and product launch plans for category & channel. Includes: Defining, creating and introducing innovative promotional material/sales tools (brochures, CD's, tapes, trade shows, videos, field updates, web, etc), demand generation and integrated marketing campaigns that support and communicate Joerns value propositions (in alignment with our partners) to the specific market segment, and build brand equity.
Develop links with Key Opinion Leaders and influential organizations to gain leading edge market knowledge and to represent and build Joerns standing with these leaders. Develop and maintain influential reference sites to highlight efficiency of Joerns products and solutions.
Generate and analyze competitive intelligence to understand competitive tactics.
Work with our product partners on orders forecasting on a monthly basis for use in planning, manufacturing and inventory management.
Provide unparalleled sales support by answering questions and/or resolving account manager and customer questions.
Regularly interacts with customers through site visits, presentations, tradeshows, and professional societies.
Partner with Sales Training in developing and executing product education, selling process/techniques via new hire training, national sales meetings, &/or new product and feature training. Responsible for the development and communication of sales tools and programs. Reinforce the messaging, branding and global positioning of product though training initiatives.
Provide direct assistance to the field sales organization for large volume sales opportunities.
Work to understand underlying issues related to product quality/customer complaints; ensure feedback is communicated back to respective owners for input into recommendations and resolution to identified issues.

Product Leadership: Product champion and evangelist to the organization to support and embrace new product plans and initiatives.
Planning: With team, develop, communicate, and implement capital budgeting and annual operating plans. Leads the strategic planning process for responsible categories. Recommends actionable product and program strategies to achieve share / growth objectives.
Financial Results: Achieve operating plan sales, gross profit and expense targets. Manage profit and loss statement for responsible category.
Marketplace Partnerships: Responsible for developing and maintaining key strategic partnerships with other medical devices companies, industry associations and key influencers to further support Joerns growth objectives.


Bachelor’s degree in marketing of related field required, MBA preferred
Minimum of 6+ years furnishings marketing and product development experience
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Strong command of MS Office, CRM/SFA experience, Business analytics
