Primary Function

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager- Marketing Excellence to join our global team in our Bridgewater, NJ facility. The Marketing Manager- Marketing Excellence will be responsible to develop and implement marketing excellence programs, building organizational marketing capability through the development and adoption of best practices tools, programs and training. The Marketing Excellence Manager will be responsible for innovation and marketing workshop development and facilitation. This will also include actively implementing Strategy & Technology Road Mapping (STRM) methodology. The Marketing Excellence Manager will interact with our Global & Regional Marketing and Technical leadership and regional go-to-market teams.

Key Deliverables


Work with the global business to identify marketing practices that require improved capability through the Marketing Excellence Assessment workshops, and develop and implement best practice tools, programs and training for the regions.

Leveraging solid experience in marketing, and a good understanding of what approaches and methods will work effectively in this field, liaise with regional teams for facilitation of training and implementation of programs.

A gility and Innovation

Develop and facilitate creative workshops for our business/market segments ensuring business and research strategy plans. Partner closely with the regional or global workshop owners to engage in the planning, delivery of the sessions as well as implementation of the workshop results.

Lead and manage the Strategy and Technology Road mapping (STRM) methodology which includes developing STRM’s for various business units and market segments by incorporating an in-depth view and understanding of our technologies and our business/marketing objectives based on market trends.

Use specific tools and techniques (developed internally or externally) to facilitate and conduct sessions. Tools and techniques such as Synectics or De Bono style brainstorming facilitation skills and formal Voice-of-Customer (VoC) methodology.

Leverage relationships with third party organizations who lead best practices in marketing. Attend meetings, build networks and research key practices to bring back to the organization.

Knowledge, Skills,

and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in a business or marketing role or business support function.

Demonstrated experience in Marketing in a B2B environment.

Demonstrated innovation/ marketing or other workshop facilitation experience. Experience in STRM/facilitation/brainstorming a plus.

Formal Voice-of-Customer (VoC) methodology experience also a plus.

Strong organization skills and demonstrated workshop capabilities.

Ability to interact constructively across diverse business and technical functions in all regions.

Effective at working with diverse groups of people who will be participating in a workshop at all levels and functions.

Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to successfully communicate across all levels of management.

Excellent presentation and PowerPoint skills.

Ability to work cooperatively and with limited direct day-to-day management.

Highly competent with all business IT systems (e.g. Excel, MS Project, database management, and internet based applications) with demonstrated ability to learn new systems.

Team player with strong listening skills. Learning on the fly - a versatile learner.

Demonstrated ability to be an agent of change.

Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
