Responsible for development, execution and expense management of profitable, growth-oriented marketing plans for all branded lines in retail channels
Lead cross-functional team in product development projects; lead and direct work of others; take ownership of projects
Support sales goals and provide marketing programs that achieve objectives
Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
Prepare and manage annual brand project budget to achieve marketing plan. Regularly perform updates and analysis of expenditures and redemptions; initiate corrective action to meet fiscal budget; $8MM A&P budget
Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products
Monitor competitive activity and work with sales management to recommend appropriate market strategies
Manage outside creative agencies to develop innovative marketing programs that meet needs of retail channel customers
Analyze consumer research, current market conditions and competitive information
Identify marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements, defining market, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and establishing a plan
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities and improving product packaging, and coordinating new product development
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Direct R&D development initiatives, as well as cost saving analysis
Qualifications:
BS/BA - Marketing Management or Communications; MBA preferred
5 years CPG food marketing experience and demonstrated accomplishments in generating share growth and profit development
Sales experience and/or solid track record in working with field sales and making effective and persuasive presentations to customers and sales team
Experience in syndicated tracking measurements (IRI, Nielsen) and ability to translate into marketing opportunities
Proven experience in consumer and market research
Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
