The firm has an immediate need for a Marketing Manager to help lead and execute marketing communications projects in support of the Global Wealth Management business. Increasingly, scope includes both print and digital projects as well as strategic special initiatives. The GWM marketing team is responsible for supporting the advisory brokerage, bank trust, registered investment advisory and defined contribution businesses at PIMCO.

Role in the Organization

The Marketing Manager will report to the Vice President, Strategic Marketing in mid-town Manhattan and will work in a collaborative environment with other marketing mangers within the Strategic Marketing team as well as the overall GWM Marketing Communication team.

About the Job

The Marketing Manager will manage projects for various quarterly, tactical and strategic initiatives with the goal of ensuring materials and other special projects are delivered in the highest quality manner within the designated timeframes. This function serves as hub for GWM activity and marketing and requires partnership with a variety of business groups and functions: Funds, Fund Stats, Digital Media, Creative Services, etc.

The candidate should thrive in a fast paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills. Other responsibilities include:
• Contribute to the development of the strategic marketing plan.
• Lead and project manage development and production of quarterly materials.
• Lead and manage special tactical and strategic projects including collateral development, process enhancements, email newsletters, etc.
• Research ways to bring to life quarterly materials digitally via web or tablet.
• Gather and analyze metrics for all relevant marketing related activities, prepare reports for key stakeholders, and make recommendations based on findings.

Position Requirements
Qualifications and Attributes:
• 2 - 4 years’ experience in a financial services sales or marketing function
• Strong leadership, project management and organizational skills
• Excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of key investment products and themes
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic and tactical projects delivering above average results in a high quality manner.
• Ability to make creative contributions to the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
• Interpersonal skills at all organizational levels
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Independent problem solving
