I have a very well funded, Private, B2B client in the SF Bay Area looking for a Marketing Operations Manager with a strong background in implementing and managing Marketo campaigns..

The Marketing Operations Manager will collaboratively consult with Marketing and Sales Management to support strategic business needs, while improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Marketing processes, programs, and infrastructure. Further, the Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for the accurate, representative capture and dissemination of marketing information to the leadership team, be it metrics, strategy/planning and initiatives, and the systems and process know-how that enable capturing this information in a systematic, predictable fashion. This includes:

  • Measuring results - measuring the component of every element of the process: the campaigns, campaign
types, regions, individuals, products, accounts, etc..
  • Data quality - protecting and maintaining the integrity of our database, and establish a process to conduct
routine cleansing of data
  • Salesforce CRM - expert experience required; administrative proficiency also preferred
  • Marketo marketing automation - administrative proficiency required; Marketing or Standard User skills also
preferred
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute outbound email, webinar and other
campaigns
  • Leverage lead scoring and nurturing programs to educate the market and develop qualified leads over time
  • Drive conversions and success through creative, integrated, innovative campaign planning and execution
  • Manage a calendar of all global campaigns, clearly setting expectations and establishing accountability for
deadlines with all stakeholders involved, managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Use a test, measure, learn approach to iterate and optimize campaigns to drive the best possible results,
plugging any leaks in the lead funnel. This includes regular reporting of campaign activities, insights and
results
  • Champion the quality of data in our sales funnel and prospect database, working with marketing and sales
operations teams to effectively grow and segment the database in order to run effective, targeted campaigns
