Responsible for new product concepts and strategies such as regional logistics markets, premium products, products aimed at new markets and loyalty programs. Map and drive execution within the organization focusing the resources required to deliver aggressive volume, revenue and income targets.
Identify customers and locations key to the supply chain.
Drive product distribution through marine and rail terminals, depots and etc.
Recommend and drive the execution of a promotional (communications) campaign which leverage wholesale and retail channels
Develop strategic price guidelines for the regional portfolio.
Gather and maintain relevant competitive information and develop price recommendations that secure strategic business while maximizing yield.
Bachelors degree required, Advanced degree such as MBA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years experience in product development and marketing
Experience in logistics or transportation.
Superior financial acumen (P & L, Forecasting, Budgets)
Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn proprietary in-house systems
