Marketing Service Manager Department: Sales and MarketingReports To: VP Sales and Marketing Position will be based in Troy, NYCompany Overview: Silhouette Optical, Ltd., a Leader of Innovation, Style, and Service in the Optical Industry, has an opening for its Marketing Services Manager.Silhouette Optical, Ltd., the United States of America subsidiary, of Silhouette International Schmied AG (www.silhouette-international.com), an Austrian eyewear manufacturer and industry leader for quality and technology, manufactures and distributes 2 brands in over 100 countries: Silhouette (www.silhouette.com) and adidas eyewear (www.adidas.com/eyewear). Position OverviewThe Marketing Services Manager is responsible for implementing the marketingstrategies of the Silhouette and adidas Eyewear Brands as directed by the Marketing Directors of each brand, reporting directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing. This is inclusive of, but not limited to creative design, brand presentation at rep, account and consumer levels, the administrative functions of inventory management, sourcing vendors, and budget allocation.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serves as a central hub for all marketing-related tactical communications by working with all departments on a daily basis Keeps at all times completely current on new products and services being introduced, as well as new marketing and promotion techniques Coordination of vendor support for the brands; including price quotes, drafts of printed materials, and prototypes Liaison to key industry partners including Buying Groups, Associations, and Practice Management Groups Responsible for the direction and organization of tactical public relations efforts on behalf of a variety of clients Participates in the development and management of effective integrated social media plans, The Silhouette Portal, Focal Point communications and media buys Works with brands to assure compliance with team goals. Has at all times an overview awareness of information developed by specialists and experts in Marketing Services team including but not limited to graphic design, PR and Inventory/budget analysis and allocates department assignments among team members Liaison with International Marketing Teams to facilitate tactical marketing communications Responsible for market research: competitive brand analysis and identify the resellers selling out products on the internet Attends and participates in company sponsored meetings, trainings, events, and trade shows as necessary Edits and adapts International communications to appeal to the US demographic in both language and functionality.
