Salary:

Starting pay is $16.902 - $27.889 per hour, depending upon qualifications plus excellent benefits. This position is in pay schedule and pay range 07-04. A six-month probationary period is required.

Job Duties:

The purpose of the position is to manage the promotion of the Press's products at academic exhibits and other venues and to ensure that accurate data is entered into internal databases and released throughout the book trade to facilitate sales through domestic and international sales channels for printed and e-book products. He/she will support the marketing and acquisitions efforts of professional Press staff and will be supervised by the Marketing Manager.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of, and applied proficiency with, software for computer graphics, and desktop publishing software. Experience in academic publishing, sales and marketing; experience in product data management and data collection. Demonstrated ability to design marketing materials, ability to manage several projects simultaneously and strong organization skills. Excellent communication ability, written and oral and precise grammatical and proofing skills.
