Marketing Specialist - Seperately Managed Accounts

Overview:
The Separately Managed Account (SMA) Marketing Specialist will serve as the point person on the Marketing Team for all SMA marketing initiatives. He/she must demonstrate clear ownership of the all marketing plans and outbound marketing activities for the SMA Product line/offerings.

This Specialist will be focused primarily on the firm’s separately managed account initiatives but will also assist other members of the Marketing team when necessary.

Responsibilities:
Work with the respective SMA product heads to develop the core positioning and messaging for the various investment strategies
Determine the gaps in the marketing lineup and develop action plans to address those areas of concern, including brochures, presentations, sales ideas, etc..
Maintain the quarterly maintenance of all SMA Materials
Maintain the SMA portion of the intranet and internet and recommend additional approaches, when appropriate, to ensure internet content remains fresh and engaging.
Create timely marketing material for new products and campaigns
Development of content and working with outside vendors, when applicable, to create the applicable marketing material
Ensure that the product marketing materials are produced accurately, are compliant while meeting the needs of the various sales teams
Continue to strengthen relationships with other departments including management within AAM and seek ways that marketing can provide support and expertise to contribute to the product sales efforts.
Interface with multiple business partners within AAM including product, portfolio management, sales, compliance, and operations to ensure materials are effectively produced and distributed.
Perform other marketing-related functions as necessary

Qualifications:
5- 7 years of experience in financial services marketing. Separately Managed Account marketing experience a plus.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Certifications: none
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) Publisher, and Internet
Demonstrated abilities in time management; including, managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
Must have solid communication skills, be creative and detail-oriented and possess strong project management abilities
Self-starter that is able to work with minimal supervision
