Our Master Production Scheduler is the essential link that ties sales needs with operational planning. The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for reviewing sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer expectations, and internal capacity constraints to develop the Master Production Plans, by month, for a rolling eighteen (18) month period to satisfy our customer needs while carrying minimum effective inventory. You will analyze and identify risks associated with the options built into the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times to ensure sales is receiving an exceptional level of service, and ensure scheduling priorities and conflicts are resolved in a collaborative fashion. The ideal candidate will be able to lead the planning team and execute managing the desired inventory levels for finished goods as well as drive process improvements while supporting manufacturing efficiencies. To be successful you must be comfortable influencing others, running meetings and meeting commitments. Strong collaboration with the Supply Chain Team, Production, Sales, Customer Service and Management will be critical to meeting business goals.
Qualified Candidates will possess : BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research or other relevant area; plus five (5) years in production planning/execution, Master Scheduling and Inventory Control. APICS certification or actively working towards it, and experience using ERP systems, SAP preferred.
