Facility: Arbour Fuller Hospital
Arbour-Fuller Hospital is an 88-bed licensed, private psychiatric facility located in South Attleboro, Mass. Inpatient units are designed to treat adults with general psychiatric or intellectual disabilities, as well as adolescents with general psychiatric issues. Patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders can be treated on most units. There are also partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for patients with psychiatric and co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
The MA Counselor provides direct family therapy services to patients and their families as clinically indicated, serves as a member of interdisciplinary treatment team supporting program’s treatment philosophy and assures the deliverance of quality treatment to patients. These services are provided in the patient’s home and/or residential site. Provides a comprehensive range of social work services in a home based setting to an Adolescent population and their families. Works with a treatment team to develop, implement, and monitor behavioral goals and objectives. Oversees Therapeutic Mentors and modifies treatment plan as needed.
Education: Masters of Social Work or other relevant Masters degree required. Must be license-eligible. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker preferred.
LICENSURE SUPERVISION WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE FACILITY.
Experience : Outpatient or home based social work experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Must be proficient with written and verbal communication skills. Must have knowledge of community-based and state agencies with regard to behavioral health services.
Age and Disability : Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to interact compassionately and appropriately with patients and their families on a regular basis.
Other : Professional demeanor and appearance, as well as the ability to deal tactfully with sensitive situations and maintain patient confidentiality. Must be able to interact effectively with other hospital departments to achieve desired outcome for the patient.
