Job Description

Based in Indianapolis, IN,
        the Material Handler is responsible for:

        Receiving all tooling, parts, engines and packages for the business.

        Shipping all tooling, parts, engines and packages for the business.

        Responsible for dates and turn around for all calibrated tooling.

        Notify AE and BR Lease Engine groups of inventory and restocking of items.

        Inspection and inventory of all borescope equipment.

        Removal of all hazardous waste material.

        Update all OMAT MSDS sheets.

        Unloading and loading engines from trucks.

        Movement of engines in storage.

        Prepare parts required for engine work.

        Fill order for non-routine work in the field and in the shop.

        Pickup and delivery of parts and tooling in shop.

        Toolbox inventory and issuing.

        Control of all shipping and receiving documents.

        Expected to make improvement suggestions to be more efficient.

        Perform duties with little or no supervision.

        Qualifications

        and experience

        Basic Qualifications:
        ·
        Must have an associate’s degree in related field OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in material handling
        ·
        Valid driver’s license
        ·
        Must be able to work an afternoon shift
        ·
        Must be available for weekends and holidays if needed
        ·
        Required to carry a company provided cell phone and respond within a timely manner
        Physical Requirements:
        ·


        Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds
        ·
        Must be able to push, pull, and reposition a minimum of 50 pounds
        ·
        Must be able to stand and move continuously for minimum periods of 2 hours
        ·
        Must be able to climb a ladder
        ·
        Must be able to crawl on hands and knees for minimum continual period of 30 minutes
