Greenpoint Products and Services (GPS), is an aircraft interiors manufacturer located in Marysville, Washington, 20 miles North of Boeings 747-8 factory.
The facility is 12,000 square feet and has an approved FAA Quality Management System along with the following capabilities; sheet metal manufacturing, corrosion prevention treatments, painting, composite panel routing, tool fabrication, mockup fabrication, final assembly and test laboratory services.
GPS provides VIP interior products, build-to-print such as the Aeroloft product, closets, class dividers, seat surrounds and miscellaneous components.
In support of planning and purchasing, develops and maintains the Bill of Materials in the MRP system from engineering drawings to initiate purchasing requirements for all materials, purchased parts, equipment, and other items necessary for the manufacture of custom aircraft interiors. Coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising.
In support of stores administration, coordinates receiving, storing, inventorying, distributing, and shipping of materials, supplies, equipment, and parts, in stockroom or warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews and evaluates engineering drawings, calculates quantities and types of material, parts, or other items required, builds and maintains the Bill of Material in the MRP system.
Sets up all purchase requisitions for procurement, based on need dates, lead times and quantity requirements.
Schedules and tracks the material deliveries based upon aircraft modification schedules and maintenance requirements.
Confers with vendors to obtain product, data, or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
Negotiates or renegotiates and administers contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
Maintains and reviews computerized records of items purchased, costs, delivery, product performance, and inventories.
Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
Arbitrates claims and resolves complaints generated during performance of contract.
Approves invoices for payment within scope of authority.
Expedites delivery of goods to users.
Oversees and monitors stores reporting systems to meet company requirements.
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels to support aircraft production logistics. Studies records and recommends actions for reported non-usable and excess stock.
Prepares and issues change notices and discrepancy reports. May trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
Reviews shipping documents with purchase orders and contracts for conformance to company policy and contract(s).
Coordinates packaging of outgoing shipments and schedules with shipping companies as required.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor's degree and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated experience with MS Dynamics AX MRP, Inventory and order processing systems; MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) and MS Outlook.
Ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets using MS Excel.
Ability to create Power Point presentations.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and materials specifications.
Familiarity with the procurement of raw materials, standards, parts, and commodities related to VIP aircraft interiors.
Ability to work well independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.
Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
