Job Functions / Responsibilities
Participate in the design and development of engine integration programs. Utilize Pro/E to create optimized part and assembly designs. Work with internal and external organizations to validate the designs. Utilize PACCAR and industry systems to manage the product implementation process, track costs, and support new product introductions. Work closely with numerous PACCAR divisions. Up to 10% travel.
Qualifications & Skills
BSME required; Masters degree in business or engineering and P.E. certificate desired.
3+ years technical background in the design and specification of automotive components preferred.
High degree of proficiency using Pro/E or other solids modeling software required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform and/or lead powertrain development efforts.
Competency in the use of personal computer software including project management tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Willingness to learn and make use of new engineering processes and techniques and be resourceful in solving complex technical problems.
Past experience in product development and new product implementation.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Candidates should have a willingness to grow personally and professionally and should be willing to provide the effort to have the team reach its objectives.
Up to 10% travel required.
