The candidate should have experience in providing primary and secondary structures for Space and Missile Defense and Army Aviation industry. Must be able to create 3D models for conceptual designs and mature them thru release. Designer should be able to design components, subassemblies, assemblies, and layout drawings. This individual will also be responsible for checking all internal and external technical documents, as well as, evaluating proposed designs for integrity of function and design. Experience with NASA launch vehicle design, missile design, or rotary wing aircraft is a plus. Experience needed in Pro/E Wildfire 3-5 or Creo 2, Windchill, GD&T, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point

Minimum Required Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 1-3 years design experience or > 5 years experience as a mechanical designer in the aerospace or defense industry.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degrees should be from ABET accredited institutions are preferred, although not required.
Experience in NASA, Missile Defense or Army Aviation Programs is preferred.
US citizenship is required to perform this work and in some cases a government clearance. References may be requested. Travel may be required in some cases.
